Ahead of launch, a new colorway called "Contend" (争锋) has leaked. It was developed with the China Academy of Art and uses a dynamic texture process that shifts its appearance depending on the viewing angle — iQOO calls the effect "passive flowing light," meaning it needs no power or lighting tricks. The phone also gets a square Deco camera module and a metal midframe .
