OnePlus 16 Teaser: Self-Developed Esports Network Chip G3 Debuts, Claims Stable Gaming Even When Antenna Is Covered

OnePlus Is Putting Network Stability Front and Center

OnePlus is once again targeting mobile gamers — but this time, the pitch is not just about raw performance. According to OnePlus China President Li Jie, the OnePlus 16 will introduce a self-developed Esports Network Chip G3 , a dedicated chip designed to reduce latency and improve connection stability during gaming.

The company also teased a new anti-interference esports antenna . OnePlus claims the phone can maintain a stable network connection even when a user’s finger covers the antenna — a common problem for gamers who hold their phones in landscape mode.

OnePlus 16 Leaked Specs

The OnePlus 16 has not launched yet, but leaks and teasers have already painted a fairly detailed picture. Here is the rumored configuration list in a cleaner, card-style format.

What to Expect at Launch

The OnePlus 16 is shaping up to be a gaming-focused flagship rather than just another spec bump. The dedicated G3 network chip and anti-interference antenna suggest OnePlus wants to compete on connection quality, not just raw horsepower.

If the leaked specs hold up, the OnePlus 16 could appeal to users who want:

• A high-refresh flat display for gaming
• Long battery life for all-day use
• Fast wired and wireless charging
• A high-resolution main camera
• More reliable mobile networks in crowded places
